With Caladan (Ex So'Mar) the main focus was to explore a somewhat architectural approach. We were thinking about how to create a private owner's deck in a yacht of this size, and finally reached a solution with a raised pilothouse layout. The Private Owner's Deck in the upper aft is the focus of this boat, which was revised and developed further in Cyclone. On the interiors there was a lot of input from the owners, which resulted in warmer living spaces compared to Tansu's usual minimal style. Caladan went on to win the second award in World Superyacht Awards for Tansu.
